Isolationism to Internationalism

Isolationism became Vandenberg's mantra as World War II began. However, as the war progressed, Vandenberg realized that America needed to cooperate internationally. Although this stance went directly against his previous beliefs, Vandenberg soon began to shape compromises that he hoped would ensure post-war peace.
